She has a degree in Environmental Engineering from the University of Aveiro and a post-graduate degree in Industrial Waste Management and Treatment from the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto.
She began her career as a consultant at Deloitte Portugal, after a year as a research fellow in the area of air quality (environment) at the University of Aveiro. During her time at Deloitte, where she remained for 23 years, she worked as an environmental consultant, and later, since 2004, as a Manager in the provision of sustainability/ESG services (both advisory and assurance). In this capacity, she was one of the pioneers of sustainability projects in Portugal.
Since September 2024, she has been part of Baker Tilly, where she is currently based, thus rejoining a multinational and multidisciplinary network, after a period in which she continued to develop consulting projects in the area of Sustainability/ESG as an independent and in partnership with companies specialized in this area. During his career, he has worked in this field for clients from multiple sectors of activity.
