Lucas Pimentel

With a degree in Computer Networks and Information Security, and more than 10 years' experience in governance, risk management and information security, he works as an IT Audit Lead at Baker Tilly. He started his career at Deloitte, then at KPMG, and currently leads information security and IT governance projects at Baker Tilly Portugal.

He is certified as an ISO 27001 Lead Auditor, in addition to certifications in COBIT 5 and ITIL v3. A specialist in internal technology controls, risk management and controls mapping, he uses frameworks such as CIS, NIST, ISO 27001, COBIT and COSO to strengthen internal controls and protect organizations' information assets.
