He has a degree in Taxation from IPL - ISCAL and a post-graduate degree in Business Control and Management, also from IPL - ISCAL.

He began his career in the Hipogest group, where he held the position of controller. He then worked as an auditor at Victor José & Associados, SROC, working with clients from various sectors. He joined Baker Tilly in October 2010, where he is currently based.

He is a member of the Order of Certified Accountants and holds a Certificate of Educational Competence (CCP).

He has published several articles on accounting and financial matters in national publications.
